Now, we’re expanding—and through our Bergen County franchise, Kitchen Guard of Bergen County brings these expert services to local businesses.
What You’ll Do
As our Outside Sales Representative - Fire and Life Safety Consultant, you will:
- Build relationships with restaurant owners, facility managers, and commercial kitchen operators.
- Prospect and acquire new B2B clients across Bergen County.
- Educate clients on fire safety compliance, kitchen exhaust cleaning, and mandated services.
- Prepare custom proposals and service plans to meet specific needs.
- Conduct onsite assessments and inspections.
- Maintain and grow client accounts over time through trust and follow-up.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Work independently in the field, managing your territory and appointments.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of B2B sales or field sales experience (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build client trust
- Comfortable with cold outreach and territory building
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and coachable
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Able to work in and around commercial kitchen environments, rooftops, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fire safety, facility services, or restaurant industry is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in fire safety or sales are beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Fire Science, or related field preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Comfortable working at heights (e.g., rooftops, ladders)
- Able to lift 40+ lbs and walk job sites as needed
- Willing to travel locally within Bergen County and surrounding area
Compensation Summary
We offer a competitive compensation package designed to reward your success:
- Total Earnings Potential: $80,000 – $120,000+ per year (base +performance-based bonus)
